Trump ally Ronna McDaniel reelected to head Republican National Committee By Adam Brewster

Ronna McDaniel, an ally of President Trump, was reelected Friday to another term as Republican National Committee chair at a party meeting in Amelia Island, Florida.
The meeting of GOP leaders came the same week that supporters of President Trump attacked the U.S. Capitol and when Republicans lost two Senate races in Georgia, which gave Democrats control of the chamber. The violence does not represent acts of patriotism, but an attack on our country and its founding principles. Our Founding Fathers established a nation of laws, not a nation of anarchy, McDaniel said on Friday. As the transition of power continues over the next two weeks, I call on individuals to respect law enforcement, law and order, and our great system of governance.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem was a guest on WNAX this morning and outlined her plan to merge the State Department of Agriculture with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. She says farmers and ranchers will garner several benefits from having these two departments combined.
She says it’ll save taxpayers money by merging Ag with DENR.
Noem says she was shocked to hear some producers groups are worried about Agriculture losing its voice by merging with DENR.
Noem says she’s a lifelong farmer and rancher and her Lieutenant Governor is also a rancher and they have the best interests of agriculture in mind with this proposal. She adds that because there’s so few legislators who are farmers and ranchers she’s counting on producers to weigh in with them asking them to approve this merger.

Heads up, Greg Abbott, Brian Kemp, and every other Republican governor with a GOP legislature. A democrat trifecta at the federal level, like the one from 2009-2010, is now upon us. Unlike the first two years of the Obama administration, they will not be leaving their most radical legislation until midnight of Christmas Eve 2022. Bills such as the Equality Act and the PRO Act that have already passed the House will be rushed through the Senate.
These bills alone will affect religious liberty and right-to-work legislation. Republican governors with a trifecta at the state level are the first line of defense against the erosion of our civil liberties because they will be coming for more as soon as they can modify Senate procedures to ram bills through with a simple majority.
Nebraska governor says undocumented meatpacking workers will not receive vaccine
Nebraska’s Republican Governor Peter Ricketts has announced that the state government will “prioritize citizens and legal residents ahead of illegal immigrants” in the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, according to Taylor Gage, the governor’s communications director.
The revelation of Nebraska’s decision to divide vaccine administration by citizenship status came after Ricketts was questioned during a press conference on Monday on whether undocumented workers in the state’s meatpacking plants would receive the vaccine.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has proposed merging the Agriculture Department and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
In a conference call with producers and ag groups, she said it is a progression from the move of ag development into the Governors Office of Economic Development two years ago….
Noem says she wants a more streamlined agency and process….
Noem says the permitting process needs to be simplified…
Her plan would also create some budget savings through the elimination of some full-time positions. The legislature will have the final say on the merger plan.
