The opening ceremony of an exhibition celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China was held in Hong Kong on Saturday morning.
The exhibition, showcasing the achievements of the CPC over the past 100 years and its close bonds with Hong Kong, is currently underway in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai until July 9.

Numerous events celebrate 100 years of change and progress
In 1965, a total of 114 life-size sculptures were unveiled at the former mansion of a landlord in Dayi county, Sichuan province.
Visitors were captivated by the works, which featured men and women of all ages-most of them peasants-in a variety of poses and sporting different facial expressions.
