Three fashion savvy students from Donabate Community College last week took part in the 2021 Junk Kouture National Final for the prestigious title of Junk Kouture World Designer of the Year. This year, young creators across six countries had the opportunity to participate in the online-held Junk Kouture Final, from New York to Abu Dhabi, Milan, London, Dublin and Paris. Submissions were made on the Junk Kouture app, with the top designers from each country qualifying for the Digital World Final which will take place later in 2021. The National Final had been postponed from last year due to the current pandemic, but last week allowed competitors to display their amazing work.
