Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says the commitments of youths in fighting against climate change are real.
He made the comments as some 200 Fijian youths from around the country exchange experiences and knowledge at a three-day National Youth Climate Action Summit that aims to advance youth-led community initiatives and provide vital youth inputs to the Fijian Government on the Climate Change Bill.
“You aren’t driven by hidden agendas or swayed by corporate interests. Your participation isn’t political, your purpose is pure, and your passion is raw. Your voices are loud, and your commitments are real,” Mr Bainimarama said in his official address to youth participants.
