However, digital signage is starting to get noticed by one Hollywood awards ceremony: the Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards, run by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

CBS Inks Two-Year Deal For Daytime Emmys

Randy Shropshire/Getty Images The awards broadcast, set for June 25, will be broadcast in primetime on the network and will stream live on Paramount+ CBS and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences have signed a two-year deal for the Daytime Emmy Awards. Under the terms of the deal, the awards ceremony will be broadcast in primetime on CBS, and will also stream live on Paramount+. The 48th Daytime Emmys will air Friday, June 25 and NATAS says there have been more than 3,100 submissions, the most ever. The Daytime Emmys honor syndicated programs (like game shows and talk shows), children s shows, and some streaming content, as well as programming that airs on TV between 2 a.m. and 6 p.m. (such as soap operas). CBS says this will be the first time since 2008 that the Primetime Emmy Awards (hosted by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences) and the Daytime Emmys air on the same network.
