Her Majesty received the vaccine together with her husband, Prince Radu of Romania. Their vaccination took place on January 25th 2021 in a private hospital in Romania. The news was published in a short statement from the Romanian Royal Court on Twitter. The message reads: “Today, Her Majesty Margareta and His Royal Highness Prince Radu were vaccinated against COVID-19. Her Majesty and His Royal Highness received the first dose of the vaccine at the hospital of the “Regina Maria” Private Health Network in Cluj-Napoca.”

The country is waiving quarantine for those who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The country s National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) has announced that arriving travelers won t need to quarantine on arrival with immediate effect, providing they’ve had two doses of the vaccine and at least ten days have passed since the second dose was administered. They will be obliged to show proof of vaccination in order to be admitted to the European country.
