The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has hinted that popular industrialist, Aare Rasaq Akanni Okoya is always there to fill the gap for him, especially when he needs money.
Tinubu, a two-term governor of Lagos State, said this last year when he spoke during the coronation ceremony of the 15th Oniru of Iruland, Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, at his palace on Victoria Island, Lagos; an event that had in attendance the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat and other well-wishers.
Giving a positive remark about Chief Okoya, Tinubu said that the industrialist has been a good ambassador of Lagos who has immensely contributed to the development of the state.

The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, on Monday, urged politicians promoting the presidential ambition of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to deploy wisdom and avoid arbitrary use of power.
The Ooni explained this while receiving organisers of the South West Agenda – a political group projecting the ambition of Senator Tinubu.
Ogunwusi, who explained that the reported ambition of the former Lagos State Governor is a good signal for the Yoruba race, added that such a lofty dream could only be realised through unity.

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – A body, Pan Nigeria Presidency of Igbo Extraction Coalition, PANPIEC, has urged former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ashwaju Bola Tinubu, to drop their presidential ambitions in the 2023 election.
PANPIEC, disclosed this in a statement by its Director of Planning and Strategy, Chief Pat Anyanwu, on Saturday, after a meeting between the Coalition and a northern group, Arewa Power Shift Movement, in Port Harcourt Rivers State.
The group noted that that power shifting to Igbo land in 2023 will heal the wounds of the Igbo and they enjoined other Nigerians to support the actulisation of Nigeria Presidential project in 2023.
