First Student Launches Van Service through New Partnership with Norristown Area School District in Pennsylvania

First Student vans offer increased efficiency and flexibility to customize and cover school transportation routes for special education, students experiencing homelessness and students in remote locations.
The Norristown Area School District (NASD) in Norristown, Pennsylvania, is one of the first school districts to utilize First Student vans. The company worked with NASD to consolidate transportation routes and eliminate the need for multiple contractors. First Student is operating, maintaining and managing more than 80 vans for the district.
ASE extends deadline for certifications that end Dec. 31

LEESBURG, Va. The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has extended certifications for service professionals with certifications that expire Dec. 31.
According to the ASE, those with automobile certifications (A1-A9) can acquire a one-time, one-year extension of their unexpired credentials by subscribing to the ASE renewal app.
The app will send each subscriber one question, per test, per month that the user may answer anywhere on a smart phone, tablet or computer. After answering eight monthly questions correctly, per test, an additional year extension will be earned beyond the app sign-up bonus.
