성균관대학교는 신소재공학부 김상우 교수 연구팀이 체내에서 발생하는 운동에너지를 전기에너지로 전환하는 인체삽입형 에너지 하베스트 소자 기술을 개발했다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 연구에는 박현문 에너지마이닝 대표, 최의근 서울대병원 순환기내과 교수팀이 공동으로 참여했다.
인체삽입형 의료기기는 한정적인 배터리 수명 문제로 인해 주기적으로 기기를 교체하는 재수술이 요구되면서, 전력 소모 최소화 등을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다.
