ISLAMABAD: The city managers have decided to set up a walk-through history museum at H-8 which will be inaugurated on Independence Day this year.
The walk-through museum, which will have around two dozen pictures related to Pakistan Movement, will be set up near the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, where the national flag is already installed on a tallest poll.
“We have a large abandoned open space near the national flag site. So, I have directed the concerned wing to set up a walk-through museum to highlight the struggle of our nation for creation of Pakistan,” said CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed.

The Punjab government will establish a museum in Rawalpindi named after the first prime minister of the country, Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan, sources told The Express Tribune.
Funds for the project would be earmarked by the provincial government in the fiscal budget 2021-2022.
Well-placed sources said that the Punjab government had approached the ministry of national heritage for the construction of the museum. However, it received a reply that after the 18th amendment, the powers had been transferred to the provinces and the provinces would have to build projects of national and regional heritage on a self-help basis.

1,600 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be distributed at the museum Wednesday. This is part of the state s goal to get these vaccines cranked out.
Governor Kevin Stitt said in a press conference Tuesday, My goal is to get 2 million out the door before Memorial Day. So, I am trying to get 2 million out the door and get our summers back.
The Governor says the state is getting vaccines out within seven days of them hitting the state.
