VOV.VN - The northern province of Yen Bai reported an additional imported case of the COVID-19 pandemic on April 19, with the latest case involving an Indian specialist who was put into quarantine immediately upon entry, according to details given by the Yen Bai provincial People s Committee.

The country’s latest patient is a 35-year-old expert from India who entered the nation via Noi Bai International Airport before heading to Yen Bai province with a team made up of 11 Indian specialists.
Upon testing, his results came out positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the remaining cases all recorded negative results during their initial test.

Vietnam kicks off largest-ever vaccination campaign VNA
Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam has launched its largest-ever vaccination campaign, with more than 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine to be injected.
Vaccinations began on March 8 at the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases and the Hanoi-based National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and also in northern Hai Duong province, where the third coronavirus outbreak in the country struck in late January.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) said that with 117,600 doses in the first batch delivered in late February, this first phase was the beginning of the largest vaccination campaign in the country’s history.
