Despite a global pandemic that has led to countless job losses and much uncertainty, stock markets have once again reached new all-time highs. Although that has provided many investors cause for celebration, it has made others wary.
For some investors, it’s not easy to invest when stock markets hit new highs as they fear equities are at, or close to, a peak, and a crash could be on the way. However, the reality is investors will see new all-time highs on stock markets many times during their lifetimes.

Joseph Bakish, director of wealth management, portfolio manager and investment advisor at Richardson Wealth in Montreal, has won the Investment Industry Association of Canada’s (IIAC) Top Under 40 Award for 2020.
Bakish, who has been nominated for the Top Under 40 award every year since 2017, was this year selected from among 32 nominees. He specializes in working with physicians and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Life Underwriter, Certified Financial Planner and Certified Health Insurance Specialist designations.
“The IIAC Top Under 40 Award is bestowed upon an individual who has shown tremendous achievement in their career, and who is a proven leader and a credit to the investment industry,” said Ian Russell, president and CEO of the IIAC, in a release.
