They have no hesitation whatsoever and they have a message for other parents who may be concerned.
Laura and Bruce Robinson will be on their way to Detroit for somewhat of a mini vacation Monday to get their teens vaccinated at Ford Field.
“To finally be at the point where you know all of our family members will be vaccinated, it’s just, you know, it feels amazing for all of us,” said Laura.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan announced that 10,000 COVID-19 doses have been administered in the city.
DETROIT (FOX 2) - Detroit reached a milestone this week in the fight against COVID-19. The health department has administered its 100,000th vaccine dose, Mayor Mike Duggan said.
The city also expanded its eligibility this week to include manufacturing workers and people 50 and older who have chronic medical conditions, such as heart disease and cancer. Any Detroiter age 50 or older who has a chronic medical condition, you can call right now and get the vaccine next week, Duggan said.
Dr. Sims said he heard there will be about 2 million doses of the vaccine available the first week. That number is expected to grow to about 100 million doses by the end of June.

(WXYZ) â While the Johnson & Johnson vaccine becomes the third COVID-19 vaccine to gain emergency use authorization in the United States, it likely wont be the last.
Other vaccines, including AstraZeneca and Novavax, are still in clinical trials. So far, results look promising. At least five others are also in clinical trials.
Quinn Wright from Madison Heights is taking part in a Novavax clinical trial at the University of Michigan.
âI was excited but kinda like, oh man what if I m doing this and getting salt water pushed into my arm, â Wright said.
