TVS Motor launches its electric scooter iQube in New Delhi

TVS Motor Company has introduced its electric scooter iQube Electric in New Delhi. This is the second city after the launch in Bengaluru last year. It is now available in select dealerships across the national capital, at an on-road price of ₹108,012 (post FAME & Delhi state subsidy).
TVS iQube Electric can be booked through the website, and at select dealerships with a booking amount of ₹5,000. This will be followed by dedicated customer relationship assistance for purchase and support. The customer can also avail schemes offered by TVS Credit.

TVS Motor Company has launched the TVS iQube electric scooter in New Delhi. Available in select dealerships across Delhi, the TVS iQube electric scooter is now available at an on-road price of ₹ 1,08,012 (after FAME II and Delhi state subsidy). This makes the TVS iQube Electric Scooter the first premium electric scooter to be launched in Delhi, compared to its immediate rivals, Bajaj Chetak and Ather 450 X. The iQube electric scooter was launched in Delhi, following the Delhi government s announcement of the new electric vehicle (EV) policy called Switch Delhi.

TVS Jupiter ZX Disc gets start-stop technology
The scooter gets no other changes The intelliGO system works much like the silent-start-stop system we’ve seen on some other Honda and Hero two-wheeler offerings. However, the introduction of this technology on the Jupiter makes it the first 110cc scooter to get the feature. According to the company, “TVS intelliGO enhances the riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions by intelligently switching off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops. The vehicle is ready to go by a simple throttle rev which enhances convenience.”
TVS Motor Company announced that the company is investing USD 1 million through its subsidiary, TVS Motor Singapore, in Altizon Inc, USA. As per this investment, 212,220 Series A Preferred stock will be issued by Altizon Inc. to TVS Motor Singapore.
