Lester Paul âLesâ Hoskins, 80, of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family, under hospice care.
A public memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Union City Wesleyan Church, 202 St. Joseph Street. Pastor Marty Burdick will officiate.
The ceremony will be livestreamed at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 on the Lighthouse Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/lighthousefuneral. Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI at a later date.
Public visitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.

Charlotte Jean Smith, 82, of Union City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek.
Following cremation, she will be memorialized at a later date, with private burial at North Sherwood Cemetery. The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
Char was born September 11, 1938 in Charlotte, Michigan to Garland and Marvel (Bowen) Grinage. She attended Hastings High School, a member of the Class of 1956. Char was married to Thomas Vaccaro and later to John Smith, but both unions ended in divorce. Char worked as a waitress for 25 years in Battle Creek, Union City and Coldwater, as well as Kalkaska, where she owned the Country Boy Bar. In later years she worked at the B Drive Meijer in Battle Creek. Â Â Â Char enjoyed spending time with family, especially grand- and great-grandchildren.
