RYE Delayed several months by COVID-19, the town is holding its annual deliberative session to discuss the fiscal year 2021 budget and town warrant articles this weekend.
Janice Ireland, executive assistant to the town’s Select Board, said the deliberative session will take place this Saturday at Wentworth By The Sea Country Club beginning at 9 a.m.
Up for discussion are 24 town warrant articles, though several zoning-related articles can t amended, Ireland said.
The articles that come out of the deliberative session, with any amendments, will go to a final vote during the town and Rye School District election Tuesday, July 13 at Rye Elementary School from 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
In a few short weeks, I will be graduating from Brattleboro Union High School, and, as most of my classmates will understand, the spring of senior year mandates internal reflection.
