GLENVILLE – All Town Hall staff were ordered to remain home Tuesday and Wednesday while the building and town highway garage undergo a deep cleaning to slow possible spread of COVID-19 among town employees, Town Supervisor Chris Koetzle said.
“The town has seen a slight uptick in positive cases among employees,” Koetzle said. He took the action “to ensure the health and safety of all is protected.”
He said seven people on the town workforce of 40 people in the Town Hall, including in the police department, have come down with COVID. There have also been two cases in the highway department and department of public works, Koetzle said.
