Vijay Iyer Trio, “UnEasy” (ECM)
While the New York jazz pianist and composer’s projects have had many iterations, this is his first album leading a trio since 2015’s forcefully enacted “Break Stuff.” Joined by drummer Tyshawn Sorey and Linda May Han Oh on bass, “UnEasy” sees three players at the top of their game. Their connectivity is uncanny, finding harmony in avant-garde improvisations at every turn. Oh and Storey especially shine on a version of Cole Porter’s “Night and Day,” and Iyer is at his finest on the dazzling keys of “Configurations.”
Thai-inspired Takoi restaurant offering Ann Arbor pop-up in fight to overcome pandemic hurdles

ANN ARBOR, MI Restaurant owners are doing anything they can to fare through the coronavirus pandemic.
Takoi, a Thai-inspired restaurant, had a stint in Ann Arbor’s former Jerusalem Garden space from June 2015 to February 2016 before re-establishing itself in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood.
But the closure of indoor dining, due to COVID-19 restrictions, has pushed the restaurant to pivot to survive, Chef Brad Greenhill said, so it’s making a return to Ann Arbor for a pop-up spot Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 10-11 at the Circ Bar, 210 S. First St.

‘s-Gravenwezel is a refined and upmarket neighborhood, set on the northeast edge of Antwerp in Belgium, with aristocratic pedigree, historic and rural character, and beautiful greenery.
‘s-Gravenwezel, whose name comes from the word “wesele” meaning “forest near the meadows,” has a long history. It has historic castles, old domains, country estates, and comprises a rich patchwork of forests, farmland, nature reserves, and open countryside, according to Oliver Van Blerk, office manager of Engel & Völkers Antwerp.
