Three Injured in Morgan County Crash
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday in Morgan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that two vehicles were traveling southbound on Missouri 5 at Route TT at 5:12 p.m., when a 205 Kia Optima, driven by 20-year-old Candace J. Schultz of Warsaw, slowed and stopped to make a left turn. A 1991 Dodge Dakota, driven by 75-year-old Doris F. Busen of Stover, failed to stop and struck the rear of the Kia. The Kia began skidding and sliding and traveled off the right side of the road. The Dakota continued forward and traveled off the left side of the road, entered ditch and struck several small trees, coming to rest in the ditch.

Syracuse Residents Injured in Moniteau County Wreck
Two Syracuse residents were injured Thursday in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Moniteau County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2003 Honda Pilot, driven by 28-year-old Kaitlyn E. Henry of Syracuse, was on US 50, a third of a mile east of the Old Highway 50 Junction at 4:50 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a bluff and overturned.
Henry and her passenger, 34-year-old Andrew M. Peoples of Syracuse, were moderately injured and transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to University Hospital and St. Mary s Hospital, respectively, for treatment. Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
