The Clone Wars, that it was developing a new show, based upon characters from
The Clone Wars, I was initially skeptical. I knew that skepticism was not well placed, as I was initially skeptical about
Rebels, before getting sucked into the show’s amazing and deep storyline. Additionally, the new show,
The Bad Batch, was going to be produced by the same genius who brought us
The Clone Wars,
Rebels, and
The Mandalorian, Dave Filoni. Filoni’s time at Lucasfilm started more than a decade ago, when George Lucas tapped him to develop
The Clone Wars.
The new series,
The Bad Batch, premiered on Disney+ on (you guessed it) May the 4th (“Star Wars Day”), and while I obviously was looking forward to watching it, I certainly was prepared for the long haul figuring the series would take a few episodes to get into. I was immediately blown away by the story, the animation, and the unadulterated fan cat-nip that had both me and my son coming unglued.
Gal Gadot Rumored To Be Playing Sith Princess In New Star Wars Movie
Gal Gadot is apparently on her way to the
Star Wars universe to play a Sith princess, according to an attention-grabbing new rumor. This one comes from YouTuber Mike Zeroh, who has had some accurate scoops in the past but also has a bit of a reputation for being way off the mark.
Earlier this year, Zeroh claimed Keanu Reeves is boarding the franchise in the role of King Valar in an Old Republic era movie, and now he’s saying Gadot will appear in the same project, which could start a trilogy. According to him, Reeves’ character Valar “will have connections to the ancient Sith.” And joining him in the series will allegedly be Gadot as a “Sith princess” who “will be a part of this Dark Side oriented family.” Zeroh tells us that this Sith-related clan will be the evil equivalent of the Skywalkers and apparently the movie trilogy will be released via Disney Plus instead of landing in theaters.
Omega is one of the most intriguing additions to the Star Wars Universe we've seen in some time, and star Dee Bradley Baker and producer Brad Rau have now opened up about her place in The Bad Batch.

After the monster success of The Mandalorian, Disney+ and Lucasfilm have a huge slate of Star Wars shows for the streaming service. The first new one has now arrived on Star Wars Day: May the 4th, with The Bad Bunch.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch is a spinoff series from The Clone Wars, featuring characters from the last season of that series. It is also the story of a previously untold period in Star Wars history the moment that the Empire executed Order 66.
