Starting Saturday, Moffat County could see more people inside businesses, restaurants, gyms, and more, thanks to its move to Level Blue in the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s “Dial 2.0″, a move that was announced Friday during Gov. Jared Polis’ press conference.
Moffat County is one of 21 Colorado counties that will move into Level Blue under the new “Dial 2.0”, according to the metrics from CDPHE.
““Moffat County continues to be a strong and resilient community and we hear all the time residents are eager to start safely moving forward in 2021,” said Kari Ladrow, Moffat County’s Public Health Director. “This dial change is a sign of that hope and resilience.”

BOULDER COUNTY, CO Many Colorado counties, including Boulder County, will shift Saturday from Level Orange to Level Yellow on the state s updated Dial 2.0, public health officials announced Friday.
The decision to update the dial was made as Coloradans ages 70 and older continue to receive vaccines, officials said. Coronavirus positivity rates have also been dropping across the state, the latest data shows.
Under Dial 2.0, counties are allowed more lenient incidence rates, which is why many counties are able to shift to Level Yellow at 9 a.m. Saturday. Incident rates track new cases per 100,000 people.
Pitkin County’s incidence rate of COVID-19 has dropped so dramatically in the last 11 days that it could reach levels that allow indoor restaurant dining by next week.
