A man in his 60s passed away on Saturday, May 1 at a Billings hospital. “This latest death of a Yellowstone County resident is a tragic reminder that COVID-19 continues to impact families in our community,” said John Felton Yellowstone County Health Officer, President and CEO of RiverStone Health. “I extend my sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.”

Appointments aren’t available online. These clinics will provide first doses of the Pfizer vaccine to people age 16 and older. When receiving the first dose, each patient will be scheduled for a second vaccine dose three weeks later, also at the Shrine Auditorium.

At least 264 Yellowstone County residents have succumbed to pandemic illness since April 2020, according to RiverStone Health records. A woman in her 60s passed away on April 25, 2021, at a Billings hospital. Her death is a tragic reminder that this virus is still in Yellowstone County. Since the beginning of the month, 258 new cases have been confirmed and 34 residents have been admitted to Billings hospitals with COVID-19 disease.
