Four levies on May 4 ballot in Sandusky County

Sandusky County senior programming will be among the key issues voted on by all county residents. Senior levy Robin Richter, senior service director for Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP), said the replacement levy will take over for two 0.5-mill levies to clear up any ballot confusion and would generate $1.6 million annually for five years, up slightly from the preview two 0.5-mill levies that generated around $1.4 million. What we accomplished with a similar amount of money last year was we actually did over 100,000 meals, we did around 30,000 miles of transportation for seniors through TRIPS, she said. We did dozens of home repairs, over the last couple of years we did 60 home repairs.
