The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, a prequel spin-off of the Phoenix Wright series that takes place in the historic 19th century of Japan, used to be a Japanese-exclusive title. Polygon interviewed Capcom localization director Janet Hsu about the process of finally bringing it to the West. The series comes to PC, Switch, and PS4 on July 27, 2021.

But worry no longer, Edgey-poo! Those peepers are going to make their return in The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, as the cross-examinations begin. Of course, Edgey-poo won t be in the game, and neither will Phoenix Wright, but that doesn t mean
The announcement tweet also included a sneak peak at some of the music included as pre-order bonuses. Notably, these included several tracks that were scrapped from the original release of
The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve. Included with the tracks are comments from Yasumasa Kitagawa, the composer who worked on
The Great Ace Attorney series.
Similarly, bonus art will include unreleased character design sketches and references alongside commentary from art director Kazuya Nuri. This also includes newly commissioned art from Nuri. The bonus art and soundtracks can be found on the official Ace Attorney pre-order site. A total of 25 art pieces and 29 music tracks are included as pre-order bonuses and will be accessible through the game’s “Special Contents” menu.
