GRAND CHUTE, WI â The 2021 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers baseball season is one step closer to reality for fans in Northeastern Wisconsin. The High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers announced their schedule with an Opening Night of Tuesday, May 4 against their in-state rivals, the Beloit Snappers to start the initial campaign of the High-A Central League. That will be the first game since 2019 for the Rattlers, who are inviting fans to âCome back homeâ this season. Keep in mind that the schedule could be subject to changes due to COVID-19 and the Timber Rattlers will communicate any adjustments as quickly as possible.

GRAND CHUTE, WI â The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have signed Major League Baseballâs Player Development License to officially accept the invitation to become the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Timber Rattlers had been Milwaukeeâs Low-A affiliate in their minor league system since the 2009 season.
The acceptance of the invitation and moving up a level in classification were the latest changes for the Timber Rattlers since Third Base Ventures, LLC purchased the team and Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium last December.

GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) â The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are under new management.
Third Base Ventures has reached an agreement to purchase the assets of Appleton Baseball Club with an anticipated closing as early as January 1, 2021. This purchase will bring the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders under new, local ownership.
Third Base Ventures is a new entity comprised of principal owner Craig Dickman and minority owners Rob Zerjav and Brad Raaths.
Dickman, an experienced business executive, is currently the Managing Director of Titletown Tech, a venture partnership formed by the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft. He has also founded and served as CEO of Breakthrough Fuel, an industry leader in transportation energy management, Owner, President, & CEO of Paper Transport, Inc., a top 150 transportation provider, and Vice President, Information Technology for Schneider, one of the largest transportation companies in North America.Â

GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are moving on up in the Milwaukee Brewers’ farm system. The T-Rats will move to high Class A next year.
“We re one of two now, so it s great to know it s going to be staying here,” Timber Rattlers president, Rob Zerjav said.
Zerjav tells FOX 11 the Timber Rattlers officially received their invitation to remain a Brewers affiliate, for at least the next 10 years.
“It s longevity to the contract but just continues that great relationship that we have with the Brewers; that we ve had for the past 12 years. Now, we re just excited that we ll be able to continue that 10 years, and hopefully longer.
