Vaccination procedures change

Apr 30, 2021 | 2:42 PM Winnebago County is switching operations at its vaccination clinic at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh. Every Wednesday in May will be “Walk-In Wednesdays”–where appointments will not be required to get a shot. Wednesdays will also feature the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine–which means recipients would be considered fully-vaccinated two weeks after getting their shots. Meanwhile, next week will be the last week that those using the vaccination clinic at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Appleton will be able to get a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. The Health Department is looking to shut down the facility at the end of May–meaning those getting a first dose next week would get their second shot right before closure.
