APPLETON - The COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center will close at the end of May, a spokesperson for the city of Appleton confirmed Monday morning.
The clinic launched Feb. 2 as a partnership between tri-county health departments, ThedaCare, Ascension Wisconsin and a number of other health care organizations in the Fox Valley. To date, staff have administered more than 27,000 shots.
There are still several opportunities to be vaccinated at the exhibition center, located at 355 W. Lawrence St. in Appleton. This week, appointments are available Tuesday through Thursday at foxcitiescovidvaccine.com or by calling 920-399-2550.
Appointments are encouraged, but you can also walk in and receive a shot, according to a Sunday press release from the city.
