India News: NEW DELHI: Farmers’ cooperative major, Iffco on Monday announced the launching of Nano Urea Liquid, which it claimed to be the world’s first such prod.

IFFCO launches world s first nano urea; priced at Rs 240 per bottle
Leading cooperative IFFCO has introduced the world s first Nano Urea for farmers across the world, and its production will commence from June.
The indigenously developed Nano Urea is in liquid form and is priced at Rs 240 per 500 ml bottle, which is 10 per cent cheaper than the cost of a bag of conventional urea, it said.
Nano urea will be available to farmers through its cooperative sales and marketing channel apart from IFFCO s e-commerce platform www.iffcobazar.in.
The product was introduced at IFFCO s 50th annual general meeting held in online-offline mode here.
A news release from IFFCO said: "The Nano Urea Liquid is indigenously developed proprietary technology developed at Nano Biotechnology Research Centre, Kalol, in the tune of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat and ‘Atmanirbhar Krishi. IFFCO Nano Urea Liquid found effective and efficient for plant nutrition."

New Delhi [India], May 31 (ANI): Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) on Monday said that it has introduced the world s firstNano Urea Liquid for farmers across the world.
According to an official statement issued by IFFCO today, the world s firstNano Urea Liquid was introduced in its 50th annual general body meeting held in the online-offline mode in India.
IFFCO further stated that the Nano Urea Liquid has been indigenously developed after many years of research by its scientists and engineers through a proprietary technology developed at Nano Biotechnology Research Centre, Kalol, in line with Atmanirbhar Bharat and Atmanirbhar Krishi .
It was a big day for cooperative titan IFFCO when its Vice-Chairman Dileep Sanghani met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to inaugurate one of IFFCO’s most cherished projects–Nano Technology.
Sanghani met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Parliamentary office on Saturday and invited him for the inauguration. “The fact that despite the pressure of the ongoing Parliamentary session, Modi could afford to give time to a co-op issue, shows his trust in the cooperative movement”, commented a few co-operators.
Talking to Indian Cooperative soon after the meeting, Sanghani said “PM listened to my words patiently; the meeting lasted more than 25 minutes and we discussed issues related to cooperatives. IFFCO NanoTechnology was the main topic of discussion. I have invited him to inaugurate the IFFCO’s Nano experiment”, he added.
