Facebook announced on June 9 that it wants to challenge NetHack and is looking for an AI to assist them. The social media giant is launching a competition at the NeurlPS 2021 AI conference in Sydney, Australia.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler and Deputy Marcus Stigall were called out to a business parking lot off Rocky Branch Road, about 4 miles South of London, on suspicious person complaint. Deputies arrived to find 35-year-old Jimmy Jones of London and determined he was under the influence. During the investigation Jones began creating a disturbance, cursing and refusing to follow commands. After a brief scuffle Jones was taken into custody. He also threatened deputies during his arrest. Jones was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on drug charges. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
