Gavin Newsom and the San Francisco Bay Area headquarters of social media giants Twitter and Facebook, according to the FBI.
Federal prosecutors charged Ian Benjamin Rogers, 43, of Napa County, after investigators found five homemade pipe bombs in a search of his home and auto repair business on Jan. 15. They also confiscated additional bomb-making material along with 49 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

According to an FBI affidavit, Rogers made multiple threats in text messages to attack Democratic targets and ensure that Trump stayed in office.

A suspected far-right extremist in California who was carrying a white privilege mock credit card has been charged with possessing pipe bombs and police have accused him of threatening to bomb Democratic lawmakers.
Ian Benjamin Rogers, 43, of Napa, was arrested on January 15 and charged in Napa County state criminal court with illegal firearm charges on Tuesday. He was charged with possessing five pipe bombs that were unregistered destructive devices. Law enforcement officers and agents found them in his work s office on the day he was arrested.

Jan. 27 The U.S. Attorney’s Office in San Francisco filed charges in federal court Tuesday against Ian Benjamin Rogers of Napa, saying he possessed five pipe bombs, classified as unregistered destruction devices.
The federal charges follow the filing last week of 28 felony counts against Rogers by the Napa County District Attorney’s Office in Napa Superior Court for possessing bombs and illegal firearms. The Napa County criminal complaint also included the five pipe bombs.
“We allege that Ian Benjamin Rogers possessed homemade pipe bombs and the materials to make more,” said U.S. Attorney David L. Anderson. “We draw a bright line between lawlessness and our constitutional freedoms. We will prosecute illegal weapons stockpiles regardless of the motivation of the offender.”
