An up and coming singer from Greater Napanee was the “Grand Award Winner” of Season Two of Kids Got Talent in Belleville. Fourteen year-old Claire Cooper is a singer/songwriter, and a grade nine student at Napanee District Secondary School.
On Saturday, April 17, Cooper won the top prize with came with one thousand dollars for her performance of “Don’t Rain on My Parade”, made famous by Barbara Streisand in the stage and screen versions of “Funny Girl”. This years virtual event saw contestants recorded their acts from home and submitting them to KGT for judging.
