A worker was killed and six others injured after the roof of the main gate of an under construction pump station on Dhaka-Narayanganj-Demra (DND) project collapsed at Shimrail area of Naranyanganj Sadar upazila today.
The deceased was identified as Ashraful Islam, 28, son of Joban Ali, hailing from Nilphamari, reports our Narayanganj correspondent quoting Ruhul Amin Mollah, senior station officer of Adamji EPZ Fire Service and Civil Defence in Narayanganj.
Injured Miron (28), Jahir (20), Badsha Miah (35), Enamul (24), Habibur Rahman (24) and Abdul Motaleb (30) received treatment at the local hospital of Narayanganj.
