‘Stunning achievement’ - Westchester doctor describes getting COVID-19 vaccine after mass hospitalizations earlier this year

A doctor at Westchester Medical Center is among the first in the area to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Tuesday was day two of vaccinations in New York state.
Health care workers in the Hudson Valley got vaccinated Tuesday within the Northwell Health System, St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers and the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
Dr. Dipak Chandy was one of the first to get vaccinated Tuesday. He said an hour after receiving the shot, he was feeling great.
