Earlier this week, the company announced its return to Alaska this summer with week-long voyages from Seattle starting Aug. 7. Redeployment plans this fall for the following ships are as follows: Norwegian Joy will cruise from Miami beginning Oct. 19, 2021 with five to 11-day Caribbean voyages. Norwegian Breakaway will cruise seven-day itineraries to Bermuda from New York beginning Oct. 24, 2021. Pride of America will offer seven-day Hawaii interisland voyages from Honolulu beginning Nov. 6, 2021.

| The Norwegian Joy, originally bound for Jamaica this summer, will now restart in Miami in October. Norwegian Cruise Line revealed the deployment plan for eight additional ships, a fall lineup that includes six vessels departing U.S. ports and its first sailings from Panama City.    Norwegian canceled its planned sailings on the Norwegian Joy from Montego Bay, Jamaica this summer, saying that it will transfer crew from that ship to Alaska due to the lead time needed to launch the Norwegian Bliss from Seattle Aug. 7 and maximize the short Alaska cruise season. Newly scheduled vessels are the Norwegian Breakaway, Encore, Escape, Pearl, Jewel, Sun, Spirit and Pride of America.

(Photo: Norwegian Cruise Line) Norwegian Cruise Line on Wednesday announced it plans to redeploy eight additional vessels for U.S. and international voyages starting this fall, more than a year after the COVID-19 pandemic brought the cruise industry to a virtual standstill. Passengers will once again sail aboard Norwegian Breakaway, Encore, Escape, Pearl, Jewel, Sun, Spirit and Norwegian s Pride of America to explore Hawaii, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Asia and more. These ships are scheduled to recommence operations from October through February. Earlier this week, NCL announced its return to Seattle for the Alaska cruise season, with a start date of August 7. Voyages expected to operate in the U.S. are contingent on obtaining a Conditional Sailing Certificate from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the company said.
