Back in 2004, having come back from the desert twenty pounds and one wife lighter, I bought a small little place over in Largo, Florida where I had found post deployment work in the private sector. It was a pretty decent little house. With no spouse and an all-of-the-sudden bit of extra time on my hands, I decided to fix up the place. The first thing that had to go, was that nasty, puke colored carpet. Tearing it out and having it replaced was going to be time consuming and fairly expensive. However, once again I was reminded that God takes care of fools and drunks, and as all my friends, acquaintances and Class-B Dependents know, I am well qualified in both categories.

Gen. Debold Sinas, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), reminded policemen to lead by example as he approved the promotion of more than 25,000 police officers across the country who had passed the qualification standards for the 2020 Continuous and Regular Promotion Program.

Among those who were promoted were 15 police generals whose promotions were approved by President Duterte.
Sinas personally conferred the promotion of 331 police personnel during a ceremony at Camp Crame in Quezon City, one of the donning of the ranks ceremony held in various parts of the country.
OPP charges 3 officers, suspends 4 over towing industry allegations

Three OPP officers have been charged and four others have been suspended after an investigation involving the towing industry.
The investigation began in Feb. 2019 when they received an internal complaint that alleged OPP officers within the Highway Safety Division were giving preferential treatment to tow operators in the GTA.
Provincial Const. Simon Bridle, a 20-year veteran of the OPP with the Highway Safety Division, and Provincial Const. Mohammed (Ali) Hussain, a 24-year veteran with the OPP Toronto detachment, have both been charged with Secret Commissions and Breach of Trust.
A three-day train-the-trainer (ToT) dynamic security course was organized by UNODC Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA), in collaboration with the Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) in December 2020.

The selection of candidates to Indian Army JCO Jobs 2021 through the Indian Army Recruitment 2021 will be done through Written Examination (June 27, 2021), Interview and Terms of Enrolment as notified in the Indian Army Recruitment 2021 Notification.
