Mumbai, April 30 : Reliance Industries Lts (RIL) on Friday reported a 108 per cent growth in its consolidated net profit for the January-March quarter at Rs 13,227 crore.
During the same quarter of FY20, the company had reported a net profit of Rs 6,348 crore.
The company, in a regulatory filing, said that Rs 13,227 crore is the net profit attributable to the owners of the company.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 18 (ANI): Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and bp on Friday announced the start of production from the R Cluster, ultra-deep-water gas field in block KG D6 off the east coast of India.
RIL and bp are developing three deepwater gas projects in block KG D6 - R Cluster, Satellites Cluster and MJ which together are expected to meet approximately 15 per cent of India s gas demand by 2023.

He added: “We are ready and pretty much at par with the world to roll out one of the largest vaccine programmes in the first half of 2021, under Prime Minister (Narendra Modi)’s leadership.”
At present, three Covid-19 vaccine candidates, developed by Bharat Biotech, Serum Institute of India and Pfizer, are under consideration of India s drug regulatory authority.
“Sometimes I wonder that if the pandemic had struck India just four or five years earlier, we would not have been in as good a shape as what we are today, with all the connectivity we have. The credit for that must go to our Prime Minister s Digital India vision, where he motivated the entire industry to roll out broadband in the first five years of his first term,” the RIL chairman said.
