Balochistan CM urges Hazara mourners to bury slain coal miners

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has once again appealed to the mourners of the Machh tragedy to bury the slain coal miners. The religious obligations may not be held back, he wrote on Twitter. I request you all again.
Thousands of mourners, including women and children, have blockaded the Western Bypass for the past five days in extremely cold weather, protesting against the Machh tragedy wherein 11 miners were kidnapped before dawn on January 3 as they slept near a remote coal mine some 60 kilometres southeast of Quetta city and shot to death.

The PM should have visited and condoled with the families of the slain miners, Maryam Nawaz said.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-president Maryam Nawaz has on Thursday said that the Hazara community is looking towards Prime Minister Imran Khan for fulfillment of their demands but the premier is apathetic towards them.
The PML-N leader talked to media before departing for Quetta to express solidarity with the families of the martyrs of the Hazara community, and said it is a national tragedy over which politics cannot be done. The PM should have visited and condoled with the families who have staged a sit-in in extreme winter after losing their loved ones.

Bilawal Bhutto s arrival in Quetta was delayed due to a technical fault in his plane.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – To express solidarity with the families of the martyrs of the Hazara community, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has on Thursday joined their sit-in in Quetta.
The PPP chairman said in his statement that Prime Minister Imran Khan should accept the demands of the protesters. Bilawal Bhutto’s arrival in Quetta was delayed due to a technical fault in his plane.
The PPP chairman earlier tweeted, “Have been trying to reach Quetta with CM Sindh & Former PM Gillani. We’ve had to off load as the planes engine would not start. Trying to make other arrangements. PM must accept demands of the victims of terrorism protesting along with their dead for 5 days now. #HazaraKoJeenayDo”
