Pensacola man sentenced for trafficking meth, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl

A 39-year-old Pensacola man was sentenced to prison for drug trafficking after authorities found methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl at his home.
Jerrel Lamar Leverette was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in state prison with a 25-year minimum mandatory sentence, according to a news release from State Attorney Ginger Bowden Madden s office.
An Escambia County jury in March convicted him on charges of trafficking in meth (200 grams or more), trafficking in heroin (28 grams or more but less than 30 kilograms), possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia
Stoudemire was driving north on North W Street at an estimated speed of 78 mph when she tried to make a left turn onto Marcus Pointe Boulevard, according to her arrest report. She was traveling too fast to negotiate the turn, and her car collided with two oncoming vehicles, according to the release.
Stoudemire s backseat passenger, 27-year-old Tyrone Deonta Wilkins Jr., died from injuries in the crash. Both Stoudemire and her front seat passenger suffered serious injuries in the collision.
The driver of a truck that was struck during the crash also was injured, according to the news release.
A blood sample found Stoudemire was under the influence of alcohol and cannabis at the time of the crash, and her blood-alcohol level was 0.221. She also did not possess a valid driver s license.

A Pensacola teenager who was convicted of sexually battering a woman last year was sentenced to 30 years in state prison on Thursday.
Eric Demond Parrish also will be designated as a sexual predator, according to a news release from State Attorney Ginger Bowden Madden s office.
The 17-year-old was tried as an adult in court, and an Escambia County jury on April 1 found him guilty of false imprisonment, battery and sexual battery.
