Long before they were called selfies, Karl Baden snapped a simple black and white photo of himself. Then he repeated it, every day, for the next three decades. Baden’s “Every Day” project officially turns 30 on Thursday and he says he has no intention of stopping. The stark contemplation on mortality and aging has prompted some to dub the Boston.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, responding to a sharp rise in demand for additional cargo space and services, announced Wednesday a major new initiative to expand its cargo facilities at Newark Liberty International Airport.
The agency has issued a request for proposals to prequalified firms to lease, operate and maintain two of the airport’s major cargo buildings through renovations that will dramatically enhance Newark Liberty’s air cargo operations.

Lori Rosner wasn’t paying particular attention to Israel’s rapidly deteriorating security situation as she checked in at Newark Liberty International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. Rosner, who flew several times a year before the pandemic but hadn’t been to Israel since March 2020, knew she had to make a decision.
