To limit the spread of the coronavirus mutation, the Norwegian borders are closed. Only Norwegian nationals and foreign nationals who reside in Norway will be permitted to enter the country, with a few exemptions.

Due to the outbreak of a more contagious variant of the coronavirus,
the Norwegian government has decided to close the borders to prevent spreading this virus. Anyone that returns to the country from an unnecessary leisure travel abroad must stay at a quarantine hotel when they return to Norway, starting from 00.00 on 29 March.
Norway Bans Flights from UK

The Norwegian government has stopped all direct flight arrivals from the UK with immediate effect.
In a press release issued this morning, the Norwegian government has announced a travel ban on direct flights from the UK due to the emergence of a new strain of the coronavirus.
The new mutation identified in the UK is believed to be 70% more contagious than the original.
Flight ban comes into effect immediately
Two Widerøe flights from Aberdeen to Bergen scheduled for today (Monday) have already been cancelled. Two other scheduled flights from London to Oslo are expected to be cancelled following the ruling.

The ship, owned by SeaDream Yacht Club, was the first to resume sailings in the Caribbean after a successful summer season in Norway.
CNN reported all 53 passengers and 66 crew were tested after one passenger fell ill on Wednesday.
The line said in a statement that it has paused the voyage and returned to Barbados after guests’ tests for COVID-19 returned assumptive positive results.
Gene Sloan, a senior reporter for The Points Guy who was onboard the ship, told CNN the captain informed guests about the preliminary positive test over the ships intercom system on and instructed them to return to their cabins and remain isolated there.
