American Airlines extends nonstop Daytona flights to Dallas, Philadelphia

On Thursday, the airport announced that American has decided to proceed with pausing Philadelphia flights from early April through June 2, but will resume daily nonstop flights June 3 through Sept. 7. “This is more great news for the community as the airlines continue to increase service at Daytona Beach International Airport,” said Airport Director Karen Feaster. Locals who fly from here to Philadelphia can catch connecting flights to Maine, Vermont and Connecticut, according to airport officials. Likewise, those flying nonstop to Dallas/Fort Worth are able to catch connecting flights to destinations throughout the western United States. “These new flights are a great addition to the current offerings for our local community, and route planners also believe there will be traditional demand from the Northeast for travel to DAB as their primary vacation destination,” said Joanne Magley, the airport s marketing & customer experience director.

Feb 4, 2021 11:05 AM Daytona Beach, FL - American Airlines (AA) at Daytona Beach International Airport is extending daily, nonstop service to Philadelphia, PA through the summer. Joanne Magley, Director of Marketing & Customer Experience for DBIA said this is a second nice surprise from AA with the first one happening in January when they extended non-stop service to Dallas. Late Friday (January 29) we got word that they are also extending the Philadelphia route. That route will run through September 7th. They re going to take a little pause for April and May then they ll resume on June 3rd. Magley says the extension of the schedule is great news for everyone in Volusia County, giving them more options at their local airport instead of making the round trip to Orlando or Sanford. American Airlines Extends Dallas Flights Through Summer

Jan 19, 2021 12:53 PM Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona s newest seasonal service to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) will continue through the summer. The service—which is offered by one of Daytona Beach International Airport s (DBIA) mainstay carriers, American Airlines—was initially slated to end on April 5th. But, because of strong bookings,  service to Dallas is now extended to August 16th. “We are thrilled American Airlines has made the decision to extend the DFW flight, especially this early in the service,” said Airport Director Karen Feaster. American Airlines introduced service to Dallas from Daytona Beach on December 17th alongside seasonal service to Philadelphia. There is no word on whether or not the airline plans to extend service to Philadelphia. American will offer these flights along with their current nonstop service to Charlotte, which offers four flights a day. Tickets can be purchased through the airline s website.
