Daraz Bangladesh Managing Director Syed Mostahidal Hoq and HungryNaki Chief Executive Officer AD Ahmad are seen at a press conference at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Thursday.
Daraz, the Alibaba-owned e-commerce platform, acquired all moveable and immoveable property of HungryNaki.
Daraz Bangladesh Managing Director Syed Mostahidal Hoq and HungryNaki Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder AD Ahmad disclosed the information at a press conference at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Thursday.
Mostahidal said that they entered into the food business to be one stop solution for customers in the e-commerce industry.
Daraz and HungryNaki will run as an independent Brand in the local market. All set up of HungryNaki will maintain its previous design. It is only a new journey of HunryNaki being part of Daraz, he added.
