Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Muhammad Imran, accompanied by the officers of the mission, visited the Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Exhibition at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Friday.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the museum formally during their video summit held on December 17 last year.
The exhibition is marking the Mujib Borsha, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Golden Jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence gained through nine-month liberation war with the support of India, said a press release of Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi.

The two leaders also digitally inaugurated the Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Exhibition and released a commemorative stamp on Sheikh Mujibur Rahman during a virtual summit between the two leaders. The message of Bangabandhu Sheikh is eternal for us and we also respect his leadership immensely. Bangabandhu s legacy is visible in your (Hasina s) deeds, Prime Minister Modi said at the virtual summit with his Bangladeshi counterpart.

New Delhi [India], December 17 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina will be holding a virtual summit on Thursday and have comprehensive discussions on the entire spectrum of the bilateral relationship, including further strengthening cooperation in the post COVID era.
The summit is being held a day after Vijay Divas, which marks India s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war that led to the creation of Bangladesh.
India and Bangladesh have continued to maintain regular exchanges at the highest level with Bangladesh Prime Minister paying an official visit to India in October 2019.
