DHAKA: Water sharing and management of trans-boundary rivers will dominate the Indo-Bangladesh Summit on Thursday led by Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said here.
Speaking to IANS, Momen said the two countries during the summit are scheduled to sign at least five MoUs Trans-boundary Elephant Conservation to Preserve Biodiversity; Framework Agreement on High Impact Community Development Projects; Barishal Sewerage Treatment Plant; Framework Understanding on Cooperation in Hydrocarbon Sector, and Joint Study on Technology Transfer.

Dhaka, Dec 17 : Water sharing and management of trans-boundary rivers will dominate the Indo-Bangladesh Summit on Thursday led by Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said here.

Bangladesh and South Korea want to take their bilateral relationship to new heights – going beyond textile to ICT, energy, blue economy, climate change and infrastructure development, said diplomats and academicians, as the two countries celebrate 47th year of diplomatic relationship on December 18.
They suggested going for free trade agreement (FTA) quickly, as Bangladesh is on track to graduate from least developed country (LDC) category by 2024, when duty-free facilities could be withdrawn.
