New Putt Putt Fun Center Proposed for Chapel Hill
At its meeting May 26, the Chapel Hill Town Council held a public hearing to discuss the proposed Putt Putt Fun Center. Located north of Carraway Village and just off of Interstate 40, the proposed development would include indoor and outdoor recreation facilities like go-karts, mini golf and an arcade.
The site for the development is roughly 19 acres of land, which is currently vacant. The site plan includes a self-storage facility and indoor recreation center, as well as go-kart track and mini golf course outdoors.

Chapel Hill Public Servant To Be Honored for 32 Years of Service
The Town of Chapel Hill is honoring a long-time public servant at its council meeting Wednesday. Deputy Town Manager Florentine “Flo” Miller is being recognized for her nearly 32 years of service to the town ahead of her retirement June 1.
As Deputy Town Manager, Miller helped lead more than 700 employees across 15 departments. According to the town, she helped find solutions to challenges while fostering a collaborative environment.
During her tenure, she led the town through many evolutions, and provided context on important issues for mayors and council members.
This is not the first time the Chapel Hill Town Council has honored Miller.
It was the first time the clinic has hosted a virtual tea party.
âWe were simply blown away by the support from our âTea Ladies.â Thanks to the community, thousands of dollars were raised. Tea guests enjoyed tea at home with engaging media posts and video updates,â said Grace E. Caswell, director of development for St. Martinâs.
The Circle of Friends Tea Gift Basket Giveaway closed on May 1. The winning entry was selected at 9:30 a.m. Monday, with Katrina Custer winning the High Tea Gift Basket.
âThank you to all of our tea guests and partners,â Caswell said. âThe support from businesses, individuals and organizations from northeast Indiana continues to allow St. Martinâs Healthcare the opportunity to provide medical and dental services to the uninsured.
