Esperance vet burglary Esperance Police would like the publics assistance in identifying the person pictured, in relation to their investigation into a burglary on a vet business in Esperance between 11.30pm Friday 26 February and 12.30am Saturday 27 February 2021.
The thief forced their way into the business and stole numerous items including cash and prescription medicine for animals (not suitable for human consumption).
The items were placed in a backpack, a plastic bag and tub from the premises before the thief fled the scene.
Police would like to speak to anyone who can identify the person pictured or has dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the burglary. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au

YANGON The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) has lowered its limits on cash withdrawals from ATMs and bank accounts after a military-owned bank suspended operations last week as it faced a run on deposits.
Claiming the move is aimed at encouraging digital payments, the CBM’s directive states that starting Monday, individuals can withdraw a maximum of 500,000 kyats (about US$354) from ATMs per day. Until Feb. 28, ATM users were allowed to withdraw up to 1 million kyats per day.

TOKYO (Reuters) - Mizuho Bank, one of Japan s major retail banks, said on Monday it had restored cash machines and online banking services after a data glitch closed down about 80% of its automated teller machines (ATMs) on Sunday.
The failure affected 4,318 ATMs out of 5,395 nationwide, said Koji Fujiwara, chief executive of Mizuho Financial Group s banking unit. The problem was caused by a failed data migration for time deposit transactions by the bank, it said earlier in a statement.
It comes as Mizuho revamped its core banking system in 2019 with more than 400 billion yen ($3.75 billion) worth of investments.
