Doha: Citizens and residents will now be able to deposit new banknotes in ATMs and cash deposit machines. Some banks have announced that their ATMs and deposit machines have started accepting new banknotes. You can now deposit both new and old Qatari bank notes at QNB ATMs said QNB in a tweet on Thursday.
Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has also informed its customers that they can deposit new notes in the deposit machines. According to the bank, customers can deposit up to 30 notes per transaction and the daily cash deposit limit is set at QR50,000. All new Qatari currency notes are now accepted in most of QIB Deposit Machines. You can deposit up to 30 notes per transaction and the daily cash deposit limit is QR50,000, said QIB in tweet on February 10. The bank has sent the same message to its customer on phones.
