Investigators are appealing for information after thousands of dollars worth of damage was caused to a community leagues club during a failed break in.
Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store in Mitchelton tonight.
Around 8.30pm two armed men wearing masks entered the Blackwood Street store and threatened the female attendant inside, demanding cash and tobacco.
She complied with the pair’s demands and the duo fled with cash and tobacco.
The 20-year-old was uninjured.
Anyone with vision or further information about the incident is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.

A 48-year-old Battery Operated Vehicle (BOV) driver for Urbaser came in for praise from residents of Mylapore after he returned ₹ 15,000 worth foreign currency that he found while segregating waste on Sunday morning.
The driver M. Moorthy, 48, will be rewarded by Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj. I have been working with this company for the past three months. Prior to this I was an autorickshaw driver. I am residing in Kannagi Nagar with my family, said Mr. Moorthy.
