Incoming LSU transfer Adam Miller helped lead the United States Under-19 Team to a gold medal in the FIBA 2021 World Championships in Latvia.
Miller and the United States were 7-0 in the tournament and beat France in the final 83-81. Miller had a solid day, scoring 12 points, grabbing four rebounds, handing out two assists, and picking up three steals. Over the course of the tournament Miller had a strong showing, scoring seven points a game in 20 minutes and was one of the top assists men for the United States.

LATVIA (HOI) Sunday afternoon Team USA defeated Team France 83-81 in the FIBA U19 (19-years-old and under) World Cup Championship Game.
Playing amongst the basketball s brightest future stars, Peoria native Adam Miller registered 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists in 22 minutes of action. Miller moved into the starting lineup in the semifinal game against Team Canada and played well enough to stick in the starting lineup in the gold medal matchup.
Miller paced the Americans early on, scoring all 12 of his points in the first half, but Team USA struggled in the middle quarters. Team France took a lead into halftime and kept it through the third quarter, until Team USA stepped up down the stretch to win the game.
