The city of West Palm Beach gave the final approval for the Palm Beach International Boat Show to move forward as an in-person event March 25-28.
Show organizer Informa Markets said it will implement the same safety protocols that allowed it hold the St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show in January and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last fall as in-person events.

Informa Markets US Boat Shows, the organizers of The Palm Beach International Boat Show, has announced March 25-28 as its 2021 show dates. However, the event needs to be approved by the city of West Palm Beach.
Amanda Paez, marketing coordinator for Mayor Keith James office, said the city will review the boat show s COVID-19 plans next week before giving the event the official go-ahead.
“We have had discussions with the boat show organizers on proceeding with the event in a manner that is safe and consistent with CDC guidelines. As with all events in the City of West Palm Beach, the boat show organizers are required to submit a COVID-19 mitigation plan that will be reviewed by a panel of City employees, including representatives from the West Palm Beach police and fire departments. Their plan has been submitted and is currently in the review process,” Paez said in an email.
